By joining the Alliance, you can be a voice for human service organizations throughout our region. We need your time and talent to help us build a stronger community.
The purpose of the Alliance For Human Services is to engage northeast Indiana nonprofit organizations through idea sharing, collaboration, and peer-to-peer networking to build stronger community relationships.

When asked why he didn't finish school, Tony is frank. "I didn't listen to my mother," he says. "I was out running around -- being a kid."
Years later, he knows the value of education and finds it hard to get a good job without one. Although he's always worked, Tony is hoping his high school equivalency diploma will give him a leg up.
"I'm finding it harder and harder to find a well-paying job -- one that lets you get ahead," he says of his circumstance. "And I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck."
Although he is unsure of his next move, he thinks he would enjoy getting a degree in culinary arts or becoming a case worker for the mentally handicapped.
